Our #1 goal in team formations is to ensure balanced teams while also trying to accommodate Head Coach and Parent requests.  This unique approach allows friends to play with friends.  Head coaches can request an impact player/friend AND a low-impact player/friend to be on his/her team.  Parents can request a friend to be paired up with.  We will try our best to accommodate requests but we cannot guarantee them.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Friday Night Lights is a 501-C3 non-profit Youth Flag Football League.

Friday Night Lights Youth Flag Football is the Largest Non-Profit Youth Flag Football League in the United States.

"Friday Night Lights" Flag football league was founded in Los Alamitos in 2006 by Mark Broersma & Chris Ketcham and has grown to include many of the surrounding communities. The vision was to bring a high quality FUN Flag Football league to their community.  Previously kids in this area had very limited, if any, opportunities to participate in the most exciting sport in America...Flag Football.

Currently, FNL operates 17 leagues in the following areas: Los Alamitos/Seal Beach, Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley, Newport Beach/Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Murrieta, Temecula, South Orange County, Irvine/Tustin, Corona, Riverside, Carmel Valley, Rancho Bernardo, Palm Desert, Santa Barabara, San Luis Obispo, Edmond/OKC and North County Coast (Carlsbad/La Costa). FNL is for boys and girls of all different skill levels who are in grades K-8. Online registration for the FALL season takes place during the month of May with practices beginning in August and games beginning in September. Registration for the SPRING season takes place in November with practices beginning in February and games beginning in late February.

As with any organization, we are always looking for ways to improve and enhance the FUN experience. We welcome your suggestions. Please email your thoughts and ideas to President, Mark Broersma - FNLFootball@aol.com
